It is very rare that I will smell the scent of designer perfumes and colognes on a buddy and ask them what designer perfumes and colognes that they are wearing, but this is exactly what happened to me the other day. I want over to my younger brother Doug’s house because he was having a wedding reception so we could all celebrate he and his wife’s marriage – who eloped to Barbados a few weeks ago without telling anybody. If I did not shop online for all of the gifts I buy each year I don’t know how I would have time to buy them. Nor do I know how I would afford all the gifts. Both my husband and I come from large families. We are also raising our three grandchildren. Having kids at home doesn’t mean just buying gifts for them. It also entails buying gifts for their friends whenever they are invited to a birthday party.
Actually my step-granddaughter Alisha is invited to her friend Samantha’s birthday party in early March. That’s why Alisha came to me earlier this week and asked if I would help her to buy a gift. I’ve only met Samantha once so I don’t know anything about her tastes and preferences. However I can remember being eleven and I have a step-granddaughter the same age. I know what Alisha likes at the moment. She is into clothes, accessories, makeup, shoes and fragrance cosmetics. I live in a very dry and warm climate. As the saying goes: "but...it's a dry heat!" I enjoy the weather where I live. In the winter I can visit the snow up North. Then come home to seventy degree days and not have to deal with defrosting the car or shoveling off the sidewalks. In the summer it does get over one hundred degrees during the days. That is when I spend a lot time in the backyard pool or at the lake. The dry skin created by this dry weather requires lots of skin creams to keep it young and supple.

In order to maintain moisturized skin I keep lots of skin creams on hand. I find it easy to do so by using the internet and ordering all kinds of skin creams. I have many different websites I visit and find great deals on skin creams. My bathroom shelves are full of several different fragrances. That way I can pick and choose depending on my mood or what is happening on a given day.

After being married to a skin care professional and day spa owner for ten years, I have learned much about using the best skin care products. My husband is not very good at buying gifts for his female relatives, which is why he usually leaves it to me. My Husband Just Ate My Fragrance Cosmetics

Married life is often humorous to me in many ways. I am amused on those occasions when I discover that my significantly older husband still hasn’t learned which were obvious to me years ago. For instance I have known for a long time that it is a mistake to kiss someone directly on the neck immediately after they have just used fragrance cosmetics. I would have thought my husband had learned that one by now, but apparently not. I applied my fragrance cosmetics right after I got out of the shower about half an hour ago. I had only just used my fragrance cosmetics when my husband kissed me on the neck near my ear where I had just sprayed with perfume. I expected him to register the nasty bitter taste of my fragrance cosmetics right away but there was a thirty second delay before my husband reacted. The delayed reaction actually made it even funnier when he made a funny spitting noise and said, “Ewww honey I just got a mouthful of your perfume!” I doubt he will kiss me on the neck again after I have just applied fragrance cosmetics.

Skin Creams for Fading a Face Scar

Last week, I accomplished to do something clumsier then I thought possible. It all started while sitting at a local pub having lunch with my friend. We got into a debate about the highest speed a person had ever run. I guessed 27 MPH, he laughed and guessed 20 MPH. The race began and we were neck and neck sprinting down an alleyway.

Like Conan O’Brien after the Triathlon, I slipped and cracked my eyebrow open on the concrete. Long story short I have four stitches coming out today. I woke up yesterday morning to find that the mercury had dipped into the teens and that I didn't want to get out of bed and face the elements. I had to be up early for an appointment I have each week to meet with friends, but the moment I walked out the door to take the dog for a walk I wanted to turn around and crawl back in the bed. As it ended up, I forgot to put on any of my skin care products that day, and by the end of the day, my face was feeling dry and wind chapped. Later that evening I'd taken off my makeup and I noticed that my skin was definitely red and chaffed. At least not unless I wanted to age 20 years in the course of a few days. I know some women who buy cheap skin care products from their local drug store and find that they are all that is needed to ensure they have a nice complexion. My sister is one of those women. Her skin always looks clear and creamy. Unfortunately I am not that lucky. I have got my mother’s oily combination skin. If I am not very careful about what kind of skin care products and makeup I use my skin can break out in unsightly pimples.
I have two choices when it comes to buying my skin care products. I can go to a high end department store and ask a sales person in the beauty section to recommend me some oil free products. My other option is to go online and look for the same high end products at a discounted price. I like the second option much better. Buying online saves me money, which is obviously a good thing. Skin Creams for Hubby's Dry Hands

My husband has a real problem with dry, cracked hands. He works with his hands every day in the outdoors. By the time he comes home at the end of a work day his hands are dry, red and sore. He carries several tubes of skin creams with him but doesn't always get a chance to use them as often as he should.

When his hands get real bad my husband will apply a generous amount of several skin creams. Then he will put on a pair of rubber gloves. He will leave the gloves on overnight and in the morning his hands will look and feel so much better. During the dry winter months this may become a pretty common occurrence.

My husband likes the way skin creams work on curing his dry, cracked hands better than anything else he has tried. And he has tried some pretty crazy concoctions in the hopes of healing his sore hands. He has investigated homemade potions and herbal remedies. Nothing seems to work as well for him as skin creams.

Attempting To Hide Doggy Stink With Fragrance Cosmetics

Both of my dogs could do with a bath right now. The problem is that we usually wash them outside because they are furry creatures and their hair clogs up the drain if we try to wash them in the bath tub. During the coldest months of the year this causes a problem because it is a bit too chilly to wash the dogs outside. It is now January and both of my dogs are a bit smelly at the moment because they haven’t had a bath since early November.

I have found that spraying fragrance cosmetics on my dogs does help, but only to a certain extent. If I did not bathe but instead attempted to mask the smell with fragrance cosmetics then the aroma of stale body odor would still linger just beneath my perfume. The same principle applies to my dogs. They smell fine just as long as you don’t get too close.

There are many online magazines that have free websites where a person can find tips on fragrance cosmetics. I look for tips on how to moisturize my hair in the winter dryness. I have looked up how to apply eye makeup in fresh new ways. I've even looked up how to select a fragrance that will mesh with my own chemistry. There are loads and loads of tips online for how to do just about anything related to beauty. There are specific sites just for beauty tips, and other sites that have tips as well as articles and fashion layouts. I have gone to sites that have tips to show how to save money while buying beauty products, even. Two Extra Skin Care Products In My Thirties

I have found that my needs have changed over the years when it comes to skin care products. When I was younger I could get away with using the three basic skin care products of cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Now that I am in my thirties I use two skin care products that I never had to bother with ten years ago.
One of these skin care products is night cream. I find that using night cream helps keep my skin look fresh, soft, supple and rejuvenated. If I don’t use it I feel as though any fine lines on my face look more obvious. I am particularly self-conscious about developing what look like parenthesis at each side of my mouth.
The second of the skin care products I did not use to have to buy is eye cream. I use eye cream to combat puffiness, fine lines and dark circles. This keeps my eyes looking young. I think this is important because I believe the eyes show signs of aging first. I expect my needs will change again later in life when it comes to skin care products.

Have you ever felt like your skin was getting irritated after going on a long run? I have. Maybe this isn’t a common thing since I have really sensitive skin irritated in hot situations but after going for it for 45 minutes I can feel my skin get irritated on different parts of the body. Taking a shower and then applying skin creams has been my routine for ages now. It became apparent skin care products were going to follow me through life at an early age. This was sort of a hard pill to swallow when stereotypical guys don’t need to bother with skin creams and the ones that do are called metro.

Well, I don’t consider myself metro, way too lazy for that but I do need to use skin creams pretty much every day. This Christmas season I had the pleasure of being able to teach two of my nieces about the amazing deals you can find by ordering online. A couple of weeks ago I went online and bought some fragranced skin care products for the body. These fragranced skin care products are not actually for me. They are a gift for my husband’s half sister, Brenda. I know that Brenda is as fond of fragranced skin care products as I am. Both of us use a lot of fragranced shower gel and body lotion. My husband and I are visiting Brenda and her partner Bill this weekend and I did not want to go empty handed. I've been looking around to give my mom a nice surprise and I know I just can't miss with fragrance cosmetics. I caught my little sister looking through my skin care products the other day. At first I was upset that she was going through my things. However, I took the time to find out what she was doing with my skin care products. She wants to look pretty and thought my skin care products would help. She has started breaking out a little. She is on the right track but needs different skin care products then what I use.

I gave her one of the moisturizers I don’t use anymore as well as my skin cleanser. I showed her how to use them properly. It will help a little bit but she really needs skin care products designed to work with her skin type and issues. I just don’t get blemishes anymore, so I have nothing to treat or prevent them.

She tried to talk with Mom and Dad about it, but they think she is beautiful just the way she is. The same as they were with me when I was her age. They lump skin care products with make-up. Now I understand their concern, but I also know how important it is to learn how to properly take care of our skin. There is a big difference between wearing make-up and using skin care products to have healthy skin. I had a sit down with Mom and Dad and explained that I wanted to give my sister skin care products and teach her how to have healthy skin. Surprisingly they thanked me and said they were fine with that.

I did not start using skin care products until I had my first job and could buy what I needed. I could not wait until I could have smooth soft skin like I do now. If nothing else I can make sure my sister has the skin she wants by giving her the skin care products she needs for Christmas.

Skin Care Products to Battle Abrupt Heat Change

One of the most annoying things about the cold almost winter months is going from such different temperatures in between being outside, coming indoors and getting in a car. Last night, I got in the car with a friend before heading out to a local bar. Being a native of Southern California, he was freezing in the 60 degree night’s air. I was a bit cold but feeling fine. As soon as he turned the car on, he cranked the heater to full blast. Immediately hot air pounded my face. Within ten seconds, my eyeballs felt dry. It made my skin feel like an alligator’s tail.

This is one example of situations, which leads to the importance of cold weather skin care products. At least for me, skin care products are the only way to go this season. Without them my face would turn into a cracked, dry situation. I have made the mistake of going snowboarding without any kind of skin care products like sunscreen. I now sort of understand why my parents always say they don’t want anything for Christmas other then a nice card and to see their kids. The older I get, the less things I can think of asking for. There are always those big items I am saving for like a motorcycle, but I don’t want to get them involved with those sorts of things. This holiday season I have been trying to figure out what to put on my wish list. If you can believe it when my mom called a few weeks ago and asked what I wanted, I froze like the kid in A Christmas Story and blurted out teeth cleaning at a dentist. Yea, I know couldn’t be more boring.

After hanging up the phone, I realized the error of my ways. After going to the bathroom, I noticed my bottle of fragrance cosmetics was almost empty. Light bulb flashed on. I would go on to change my lame holiday request to a new bottle of fragrance cosmetics. Perfumes and colognes are pretty solid gifts. They last a long time, everyone needs one and they smell ooo so good.
